About Us

Justin Wilson

Justin is one of the few unicorns you’ll find born and raised just south of Nashville in Franklin, TN. He began working on the retail side of the spirits industry in 2011, and while he has always enjoyed whiskey from his early days, it wasn’t until late 2014 when his passion for bourbon and many other whisky(s) really started to grow. He became known in the local area for picking private single barrels at his store. From private selections to sharing knowledge and experiences, he embraced the appreciation for the culture, the people, and relationships revolved around the spirit we all love.  Never turning down an opportunity to share, Justin believes there is a story behind every bottle, and he can’t wait to tell it.

Miss Tricia

Loving a light, fruity whiskey profile, Miss Tricia comes from Georgetown, Kentucky, where she spent four years as Vice President at a distillery. Running operations will be her main function at Southern Collective Spirit Company, which she is excited about since she loves working with guests in finding their perfect profile. Bernie, her Mastif/Lab mix, accompanies her to work and serves as a comfort animal for guests and staff alike. Miss Tricia welcomes you to Southern Collective Spirit Company, her new home.

Travis Kimmons

Travis grew up in the greater Nashville area spending summers on Old Hickory Lake with friends and family. He has served as a firefighter and public safety diver for 16 years locally.  In addition to being passionate about his family and serving his community, Travis’s love for bourbon, sharing it with others and educating others, is far reaching. He founded one of the first Instagram accounts focused solely on educating consumers and reached over 70k followers.

In addition to his Instagram following, Travis has been immersed in the bourbon community for over a decade now and has been esteemed for a great palate through his sought-after barrel picks like Smoke Wagon “Private Barrel 304”.   He has also made selections as part of a local Nashville first responder charity pick group he and Shane Wyatt founded.

Shane Wyatt

Shane grew up in Southern California and found a passion in helping people that continues today where he serves as a Firefighter/Paramedic in the Middle Tennessee area. He found a passion in bourbon when he met Travis Kimmons and founded a barrel pick group that gave back to Firefighters and First Responders in need. Shane loves to travel and cruise. Shane is an avid Predators and Titans fan.
